In June 2020, after a lock-down of nearly three month I had the pleasure to travel to Paris with an interesting group of nice people. For various reasons they wanted to be photographed in Paris and for me, as I know and love the city for more than two decades now, it was the perfect job.
So we jumped in the car and drove from Düsseldorf to Paris. It was a 5 hour drive but it didn’t felt like. Our hotel was just around the corner of Pigalle, still a very real exiting spot in Paris. After check in we went to explore the area. Also it was June, some hot air was very welcome, as it was a quite wet day … more to come …

I didn’t fake the red light … just a little … this picture was taken right outside the Folie’s Pigalle.
Creatures of the night …
Somehow we were all attracted by this corner …
This photo happend without any words … we saw and thought the same thing in the same minute … one of my fav shots in 2020 so far.
And than it started to rain again … I was standing at the entrance of our hotel and really enjoyed it. Be like water … my friend … Look how cool these two just walked through the rain…
I always wanted to do a shooting in the rain. Unfortunately my camera is not water resistant, so I had to stay at the hotel entrance.
We all just loved the heavy rain. It was a fascinating atmosphere.
Day one. In the morning we went to the Metro station around the corner. I braught my mobile Priolite flash and we had a great time shooting there. Most people were very friendly and some stopped and looked what we were doing.
And then we played some Basketball at the coolest place on earth … and again, everybody was ok … they even borrowed us a ball …
After sport we took a little break at this nice bistro somewhere in Paris …
And of course, we went to the Tour Eiffel …
Streets of Paris …
We also spend some time at the Canal Saint-Martin which is already 200 years old!
I would like to thank Zohra, Maria, Shri and Prash for their trust and the great time I had!
